Meet Abby

I’m a financial wellbeing and money expert with over 25 years of experience helping people feel more confident and in control of their finances. With a background as a qualified financial adviser, coach and trainer, I work with organisations, individuals and neurodivergent communities to reduce financial stress, improve wellbeing, and build financial confidence. I specialise in making money feel simple, practical, and achievable for everyone.

Through my corporate work at My Money Explained, I deliver financial wellbeing training, webinars, workshops, manager and Mental Health First Aider upskilling, and my Money Champion training programme — helping workplaces reduce financial stress and build financial confidence and resilience within their teams.

I also support neurodivergent adults through specialist training programmes, combining ADHD-friendly financial coaching, courses, and community support. My Managing Money with ADHD programme is specifically designed to help neurodivergent individuals build better money habits and feel more in control of their finances.

I’m passionate about normalising conversations around money, helping to break down stigma, encourage open dialogue, and create safe spaces where individuals and organisations can talk about financial wellbeing without judgement.

Alongside this, I regularly speak at events, contribute to media discussions, and partner with wellbeing providers, payroll platforms, and benefits consultancies to extend financial wellbeing support to wider audiences.

Over my career, I’ve held positions at two major high-street banks, contributed to the growth of a fintech startup, and successfully managed two businesses of my own. I hold qualifications as both a financial adviser and mortgage adviser, and have worked extensively as a financial adviser, coach and trainer.

Through everything I do, my goal is simple: to help people feel better about money — with confidence, clarity, and less stress.
